No problems mate! Thanks for the shout out! :D
I would also like to thank everyone that helped me throughout my first season of fantasy premier league!
I must say, within the first 11 gameweeks of the season I took a total hit of -52 points leaving me ranked 1,120,790 overall. Due to you legends, I ended up finishing 81,783 overall!
I won all my leagues and I’m sooo pumped for next season! Finished with a total score of 2,056 along with 66 transfers.

Next stop is EURO 2012….
Does anyone know any websites that give fantasy tips for the Euro’s?

Must apologise for going against Di Santo, but considering Eddie took a -12pt hit and have Rooney(C), Jelavic and Cisse uptop I’d guess it wouldn’t have made a difference. Congrats Nathaniel for not listening to me as well.

Reply

Nathaniel May 13, 2012

Why thanks! Yeah 6 points doesn’t seem much but it appears its the highest score that any striker got! lol

Reply

Varun May 13, 2012

Wat a final day of the season….Aguero (my captain :-O ) steals it in the dting minutes !

Reply

Varun May 13, 2012

What gr8 headline news if Tevez can also score in a City win !

Reply

Nathaniel May 13, 2012

Anyone else having problems with the livetime? Mine isn’t working

Reply

Anonymous May 12, 2012

I think I’m going to drop Jelavic. He didn’t do much after his 2 goals in the first game of the DGW. Plus Newcastle is strong with so much to play for.

Reply

Nathaniel May 13, 2012

Everton are strong at home, don’t be too hasty

Reply

Min May 13, 2012

Thanks mate. I decided not to drop him.

Reply

Nathaniel May 13, 2012

Bet your glad lol

Reply

Min May 12, 2012

Krul or Vorm.. Still indecisive.

Reply

member May 12, 2012

Ashley Cole start or rested??

Reply

Nathaniel May 12, 2012

I think rested, I think Bertrand will start

Reply

Nathaniel May 12, 2012

Howard
Rafael Clichy Ivanovic
Mata Silva Sigurdsson Pienaar
Cisse Di Santo Tevez

Subs: Vorm Hibbert Olsson Dempsey

Any ideas of who to captain and who to play in goal? Thanks

Reply

Tommasi May 12, 2012

Van persie or aguero for captain ?

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

aguero – its not rocket science its fantasy football!

Reply

Min May 12, 2012

After much consideration,, I have decided to make two changes to my team (-4)pts.
I’m 8 points behind my own league and most likely be 12 points (my rival rarely takes points hit) behind at the start of play. Hope to still catch the leader as we have only 2 players in common (though not sure what his transfer of the week is)

Going to get Aguero + Silva. Off go Rooney + Dempsey..

Vorm
VML, Skrtel, Walker
Valencia, Bale, Silva, Petrov
Jelavic, RVP, Aguero (c)

Subs: Krul, Rosicky, Bardsley, Caulker

Pls give me final advices.. Thanks and good luck to you all.

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

awesome strikers, sure to get goals. b careful with petrov and bale though. bale may play left back and the brittania is a tough place to travel to

Reply

WeeLAD May 12, 2012

Bale won’t play LB, Gallas will.

It’ll be Walker-King-Kaboul-Gallas.

Reply

Min May 12, 2012

Thanks mate. It was to buy Silva/ Mata.. Silva seems to be safer choice. Mata may play and he scores pts if he plays at home against weaker oppositions.

Reply

Buddha May 12, 2012

A) Valencia, Rooney, and Maloney

or

B) VDV, Bale, and Jelavic

for B) i already have pienaar as well, and it leaves me with no united coverage
for A) my rival has both valencia and rooney as well

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

if those r ur only two options then….A

Reply

eddie casey May 12, 2012

well who will i play Rosicky or Ben Arfa who will i start in team the other one benched

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

NO ADVICE FOR U, U NEVER LISTEN TO ANYONE!

Reply

eddie casey May 12, 2012

i do my sister husband told me today all bar Rosicky or Ben Arfa which one to start then im happy im very sorry

Reply

Min May 12, 2012

I would probably drop Ben Arfa IF I had your squad, because you don’t have Arsenal coverage, while you have P Cisse.

Reply

eddie casey May 12, 2012

Hi thanks very much good choice if arsenal play wel im a Man united suporter hoping for americal for qpr to win now i have a starting team of Hart,Vermalaen,Cadwell,Terry, Ashley Young,Moses vice captian,Rosicky,Maloney, Rooney Captian,Papiss Cisse,Aguero, subs Ben Arfa,Kelly,Simpson i took a 12 point hit to get Cadwell,Terry,Maloney,Aguero got rid of Sagna,Turner,Dempsey,Jelavic was that a good choice to do what do you think of my team now

Min May 12, 2012

Your team have certainly improved. But 12 pts hit is not a very good thing to do if you’re competing with others. Still, good choices. And good luck.

Anonymous May 12, 2012

Who should I drop? Jelavic or Bale or Valencia or Rosicky?

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

Jela is home (that’s a no brainer) Man utd need goals (don’t drop valencia). its a toss up between bale and rosicky. bale might play as left back and rosicky is well…not a FF player. verdict – drop Rosicky!

Reply

Josh from New Zealand May 12, 2012

Drop Jelavic, Everton have nothing to play for, while Valencia is playing for first and Bale/Rosicky are playing for a Champions League spot.

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

hmmm caulker or kelly?

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

Anyone??? lol

Reply

eddie casey May 12, 2012

Hi i took out Sagna and Turner and bought in Terry and Cadwell then i took out Dempsey and Jelavic and bought in Maloney and Aguero i lost 12pts was that good choice or move.My starting team will be Hart,Vermaleam,Terry,Cadwell,Ashley Young,Moses vice capitan,Rosicky,Maloney,Rooney captian,Papiss Cisse,Aguero subs first sub Ben Arfa,Kelly,Simpson can i get feed back on wat people think that are good at picking teams and winning leagues thanks

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

12 POINTS?!? LOLOL you’ll end up self destructing. good luck mate. spelling errors, ff errors *sigh* lolol @ rosicky *facepalm

Reply

Anonymous May 12, 2012

Moses and Maloney. Okay….

Wigan will get a 0-0 vs Wolves like Everton did last week then. Too inconsistent and I can’t believe you have 3 Wigan players and lost 12 points to do so…Wow.

Reply

Anonymous May 12, 2012

Also, Young won’t start over Valencia and Nani.

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

i’m not too sure about 0-0 though. both teams have nothing to lose (one safe-the other relegated) so i think there will be goals. also what are u talking about Anon??? Young started over Nani against Swansea

Reply

Anonymous May 12, 2012

By the same token, Everton and Wolves had nothing to play for and drew 0-0…

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

that was an away match for everton bro, wolves lost out in their backyard. also wigan haven’t lost a home game since March getting the scalps of not only wigan but the great man utd

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

scalps of newcastle* and man utd. -_-

Min May 12, 2012

I want Aguero. Should I sell Rooney or RVP? I’m reluctant to sell either of them but still want Aguero a lot.

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

yes Aguero is a must! transfer out rooney. he looked pale against swansea and he’s struggling for form

Reply

Nathaniel May 12, 2012

Looked pale? lol

Marc May 12, 2012

Hi all

Grateful for any tips on my team – I have a slender 11 point lead to protect but second place has a stronger team for this week than mine and 2 FTs to my one.

MY TEAM
Ruddy (Vorm)
Martin R – Vermaelen – Hibbert (Richards, McAuley)
Valencia – Dempsey – Petrov – VDV (Cabaye)
Jelavic – Cisse – Aguero

HIS TEAM
Krul (Vorm)
Clichy – Taylor – Ferdinand A (BAE, Enrique)
Bale – Silva – Petrov – Gutierrez (Moses)
Rooney – Adebayor – Ba

I’m thinking my FT will probably be Dempsey out and either Moses or a City midfielder in. I’m also toying with the idea of a 4 point hit to bring in a defender or gk more likely to get a clean sheet, but amm not sure… Don’t know which changes my opponent will make but I’m guessing one will be to bring in Aguero for Ba.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Who to play? 2 out of 3:
Ben Arfa, Jelavic or Siggy? I know most will say Ben Arfa and Jelavic, but I have a feeling Swansea might get something, at home against inconsistent Liverpool. Plus, everton vs. newcastle is hard to call :/

Reply

Nathaniel May 12, 2012

I’m playing Sigurdsson, think he could have a good game

Reply

Josh from New Zealand May 12, 2012

Ben Arfa and Sigurdsson. Really can’t see Everton scoring vs Newcastle (who may I remind you are playing for a Champions League place). Plus Sigurdsson is playing to attract the interest of big, high paying Premier League clubs (his last match before the loan expires), so I can see him scoring.

Reply

J 'el nino' May 12, 2012

Josh – u can’t c everton scoring at home??? may i remind YOU that no one thought wigan would beat newcastle let alone score 4 goals and chalk up a clean sheet against the magpies. everton r tough at home mate, this will b no walkover i assure u. also Anon (who ever u may be) ur spot on with liverpool’s away form, swansea could definitely get a result and liverpool dont have great defense while siggy wasn’t that bad against man utd, may have gotten an assist if dyer didn’t flop

Reply

Daveyb May 12, 2012

My team is
Vorm
Walker Hibbert lescott (Evans Simpson)
Silva Valencia Dempsey bale (sigurdsson)
Rooney rvp cisse

Was thinking Dempsey and cisse out and Moses aguero in?! Then making aguero captain?! Do u think this is a good move?!
Or I can do Dempsey and Rooney/rvp out for vdv and aguero?!

Please help thanks

Reply

Josh from NZ May 11, 2012

Current team:
Schwarzer
Caldwell/Kompany/Walker
Bale/Ben Arfa/Nasri/Pienaar/Sigurdsson
Cisse/Tevez (c)

Bench: Mignolet. Odemwingie/Williams/Hibbert

Sell Odemwingie for Rooney and bench Pienaar or sell Schwarzer for Hart and play five in midfield? Leading my league, money no object, not taking a points hit.

Reply

Buddha May 11, 2012

ok final decision making…

pick the best starting front 7 out of these:

A) valencia, siggy, maloney, pienaar
aguero, rooney, rvp

B) VDV, siggy, bale, pienaar
aguero, jelavic, rvp

Reply

DarrenM May 11, 2012

OK if any of ye think ye’re good fantasy problem solvers Ive got a great one for ye… I have 3 players in my squad that will not play tomorrow, DEMPSEY, SANGA, JONNY EVANS, 1 FT and 0.0 in the kitty. So my team would be pre tranfers
Vorm,
Walker, SANGA, Jagielka,
Sigurdsson, Valencia, DEMPSEY, Van der Vaart,
RVP, Aguero, Jelavic.

Mingolet, Ben Arfa, EVANS, Lopez

So I’m thinking
(A) Sanga > Clichy/Ivanovic, Dempsey > Moses/Ramires, and play Jagielka instead of Evans.

OR (B) Sanga > Clichy, Dempsey > Petrov, Jelavic > Torres

OR (C), Faith in the Geordies, Start Ben Arfa over Sigurdsson and Jelavic > Papiss Cisse?

What do ye reckon of my plans, all carry a -8 hit, and I wouldnt chance any more as Im in a H2H final and a few 2nd’s and firsts on the line?

:) Any help appreciated!

Reply

Anonymous May 11, 2012

D) None of the above.

Sagna to Clichy and play Ben Arfa over Dempsey. Used your transfer, no points hits and a full, strong 11. Easy.

Reply

Josh from NZ May 11, 2012

I’m with anonymous on this one. Don’t forget that Ben Arfa is still fighting for a Champions League spot!

Reply

DarrenM May 12, 2012

yeah but have jagielka and jela then, doesnt do too much for me if everton concede and jela doesnt score. how big ofa rotation risk is clichy with zabaleta and kolarov there dya think?

Reply

Buddha May 11, 2012

front 8 right now consists of…
valencia-bale-pienaar-HBA-siggy
jelavic-roonpig-rvp

3 choices:

A) jelavic + bale –> aguero + maloney
B) pienaar + rooney –> moses/yaya/ramires/nasri + aguero
C) HBA + rooney –> moses/yaya/ramires + aguero
