Your team is set, if you really wanted to you could get rid of McClean but I reckon you should just keep the transfer for next week.

i have those 3 forwards already but i'm seriously considering Rooney for Cisse. Man City and Everton away are really tough.. and Rooney has Swansea at home and Sunderland away in comparison! no brainer??

Van der Vaart or Pienaar for Captain?

You have games for Nikica Jelavic and Papiss Cisse wrong. They already played those games last week. Do you still recommend them for forwards?

Phil McGrath May 3, 2012 at 9:24 pm

Hi SAAB,

Yes thank you for pointing that out and it has been changed, yes we would still recommend them for this week with Jelavic playing against Wolves and with Cisse in such amazing form despite the fact they welcome a city side that is likely to crowd the midfield and cut off the supply to Cisse, but after his goals last week he is liable to do anything.

Cheers,

Phil

I have a problem.

Krul

Rafael Vermaelen Walker

McClean Dempsey Petrov Bale

Jelavic Cisse RVP

Vorm Sigurdsson Simpson Evans J

I know I need to get another defender (probably for Evans) as Simpson and Evans are injured and Rafael wont play so who should I get. But the thing is I wanted to get Pienaar for McClean to see if Pienaar would score a heap. I am first in my minileague by 60 points so should I go -4 for the 5 week in a row?

Amazing now Walker’s stubbed his toe! Now I only have 2 fit defenders! Now what? :(

Took a look at those "Captain Tips" Paul. Thanks a ton for the penetrating insight (I'm hoping you're getting the sarcasm, as I'm laying it on pretty thick.) Tipping those three guys for the armband is like telling me I should enjoy Cheese, Chocolate, and Bourbon. Of COURSE I should. Meanwhile, Good stuff here.

I guess my point is, if you had to pick ONE of those three guys …

Hi Jeff,

Personally I am going for Jelavic, I think that RVP is probably the safest option and will get at least a goal.Jelavic is a slightly riskier option as there is a chance that if Everton go ahead early on and he hasn't scored he could be replaced to give others game time and Cisse, well Wednesday's performance anything is possible, but with City looking to lock it down at the back and get out of St. James's Park (Sports Direct Arena is not for me) with 3 points they will be very defensive and looking for a 1-0, so it could be difficult for Cisse to get opportunities, but like I said after Wednesday's goals he could score a hat-trick, but it is a big gamble.

So again it really comes down to how much of a gamble you need to take and how brave you are.

Phil
