Gameweek eleven of the fantasy Premier League is going to be a difficult one for those looking to choose the captain. Generally, there are a number of stand-out options which make this a little bit easier, however this week there really are no obvious choices.

Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne is top of our list at the moment, followed closely by Pelle and Kane.

Manchester City beat Crystal Palace in the league cup during the week. Kevin De Bruyne was on the scoresheet and also got an assist. He has now managed three goals and three assists in this first five Premier League starts.

The Sky Blues opponents Norwich City have not won a Premier League game in their last five attempts. For this reason, many will be looking at Manchester City for their fantasy Premier League captain. With Sterling a doubt and Aguero out, it is the inform Kevin De Bruyne who gets the captains armband for us this week.

Norwich City have conceded 11 goals in the last four Premier League games, Manchester City in contrast have scored 12 goals during this period. You also have to consider they had a nil-nil draw with Manchester United last time out too.

Pelle is getting ready for a game against Bournemouth. His popularity is increasing as Southampton have a good run of games and this week he is in the frame as a potential captain shout.

Bournemouth have conceded 10 goals in the last two premier League games. The Southampton striker scored for the Saints in the league cup during the week.

The final player to make our shortlist for captaincy this week is Harry Kane. He has come in the form after scoring a hat-trick against the aforementioned Bournemouth. He is a confidence player and he will certainly fancy him self to score a couple of goals against Aston Villa.

Of course Aston Villa are now without Tim Sherwood as their manager and they will be hoping that their fortunes turn around as they have conceded alot of goals on their travels so far this season. We think this game has come too quick for them to provide that much needed reaction.
