The wait for fantasy premier league managers is almost over the first deadline of the season is only days away and as usual on a Wednesday we are back in the studio to record another episode of of our fantasy football podcast. With so much going on ahead of Saturday’s games and the prospect of a double gameweek for Chelsea and Reading there is certainly plenty for us to talk about.

do you think Nasri is worth a punt at 8.5, he is cheaper than the other highscoring midfielders, but is he too much of a risk of rotation?

mata is better than hazard…we shoulsn't take risk at the start itself.
kagawa would b a better option

now that rvp has joined utd,keeping 2m in the bank to reinvest in rooney come gw2 does not seem such a good idea,any ideas as to an alternate striking strategy?

there is so much uncertainty at arsenal and man u, and to a lesser extent at chelsea, that it's hard to make any rational picks from 3 of the 4 best teams. I'm thinking about loading up on chelsea and man city and using the wildcard gw3 when it settles down.

1. Was thinking to swap Hazard with Dempsy due to Chelsea might have a high rotation on the midfields as they have plenty. Even though they will be playing 2 games, do you think Hazard can contribute numbers of point or even play for 90 minutes for both games?

Always tough to know where the teams stand so early on the season, we only have the friendlies games to judge from. But out of what u seen in the friendlies games who in the United midfield do u reckon is the safest starter? Nani, Kagawa, Young. Btw u r doing a great job, really grateful.

your defence is good…but your midfieeld is not upto the mark..pls do a bit alteration in mf…..
dont heed that other fella not much needs changin there to be fair…maybe just elganassy for taylor at west ham? same price, taylor had a decent run of it last year in championship. Keepers are a little bare but your strikeforce should more than cover it….Good Luck mate!
patbluelre if u r so conserned then u should hav said noble in for taylor….mark noble is the free kick and penalty takers for west ham…instead of pienaar he can go for yaya toure…the perfect midfield option would be the following..
1.yaya toure
2.guthrie(double gameweek)
3.mata
4.van der vaart
5.mark noble….

I'd really like to know where you draw the line between a player in good form in a "weak" team, and a player in average form in a "strong" team?
For example, last year Pilkington from Norwich was having a little purple patch of form and was in my team. However, I'd still be inclined to start someone like Nani instead, even though he hadn't been setting the world alight, simply because Manchester would have an easy fixture. I struggled with decisions like this all season.
What is more important to you? Form or team & fixture?

Is Suarez worth it? Liverpool has tough fixtures but usually, they play better against the big teams.
With Reading and Chelsea playing twice is they any worth having 3 players from both teams and if so who would you direct as being good choices from the two clubs?
