The Fantasy Premier League is a difficult beast to tame and the most frustrating element of the fantasy premier league is trying to pick your fantasy football team for gameweek 1.
The form players from last season generally all see their value seriously increased, other Premier League teams sign players that bloat their squad and then there is the issue of having to deal with the promoted teams as the limited budget means that you have to include some players that did not play Premier League football last season. Then we have to consider a lot of Premier League players played in the Euro’s and this year we had the Olympics too, not to mention how the pre-season went for the Premier League clubs.
The worst nightmare for a fantasy premier league manager is to play your wildcard in gameweek 3 or 4 to try make up lost ground over the opening gameweeks. The problems stems to a lack of time to study all the key factors outlined above with the lack of information on form and fixture difficulty also contributing.
