Fantasy Premier League Tips: Gameweek 28, Its a Double!

by Paul Caffrey on March 3, 2015

The most important aspect of gameweek 28 is the fact it is a double that could provide serious points returns for those who pick the right players. QPR play Arsenal at home, Tottenham host Newcastle and then Tottenham travel to QPR for the EXTRA GAME.

Manchester City are playing struggling Leicester City and after their two defeats in a row against Barcelona and Liverpool, all eyes are on the Eastlands to see if they can rekindle their form that saw them dispose of Newcastle 5-0 last time out at home in the Premier League.

Swansea are excited about Sigurdsson and Monk has stated that he is looking to play him this week. Wes Brown had his red card rescinded by the FA, meaning the Sunderland defender is available against Hull City. Although Sunderland’s Adam Johnson is suspended for off field activities that saw him arrested.

Ron Vlaar is 50/50 to play against West Brom in the midlands derby, if out it will give Berahino owners a boost although there is a doubt about him too.

Finally Gerrard is out for a month, confirmed by Rodgers. This may suit Liverpool as they are playing very well and should have a relatively unchanged team as they prepare to face Burnley on Wednesday night.
