Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 20 Tips

by Phil McGrath on December 31, 2014

We have finally reached the last gameweek of the year and for fantasy premier league managers it is shaping up to be a week for differentials. With a number of the big names failing to produce the goods last time out there looks to be value in a number of differentials.

As as far as team news goes, Danny Welbeck is a major doubt for the Gunners with a thigh injury, although it remains to be seen who will lead the line for Arsene Wenger’s side with Olivier Giroud also suspended. Mile Jedinak is unavailable for Palace having linked up with the Australian national squad for the Asia Cup, while Everton have confirmed that Tim Howard will be out for up to six weeks with a calf injury.

The big news is the fact that Yaya Toure has refuted claims he was injured last time out and was merely rested. The Ivorian international was reportedly struggling with a groin injury, but the man himself has said he is fine and hopes to be in contention to face Sunderland.

So with all that in mind and the clock ticking down not only to the new year, but to the gameweek 20 deadline, here are our thoughts on players.
