The 20-year-old Brazilian Playmaker Oscar has undergone a medical at Chelsea and looks set to sign from Internacional for a fee of around £25 million pounds.

What Type of Player is Oscar?
Oscar plays as a classic Brazilian Number 10 with the additional abilities to sprint directly towards goal or make a clinical pass at real speed. For this reason both Barcelona and Real Madrid were in the hunt for his signature this summer along with Tottenham. He posses flair and gives teams he plays for “vertical Penetration” according to Andre Villas-boas.

Playing for Internacional Oscar managed to score 11 goals and 5 assists in 36 games which is a 44% return rate. That is a high return in fantasy terms but it remains to be seen if he has the physicality to hit the Premier League running.

On the 20th of August 2011 Oscar was playing for Brazil in the U20 Fifa World Cup against Portugal and scored a Hat-trick to lead Brazil to victory.

Should you sign Oscar for the start of the season?
Sadly the answer is no, it would be a better idea to wait a gameweek or two as Brazil are heavily tipped to go very far in the Olympics and Roberto Di Matteo is expected to give him some time off after the competition.
Juan Mata hit the ground running and when you consider Chelsea also have Eden Hazard at their disposal we might see the Londoners play an extremely attacking brand of football that could provide massive fantasy football points return.

FYI, the FPL have released a full player price lsi, although the site isn't open for business yet. Well worth a look as there's a few surprises in there, such as relatively low prices for midfielders. Silva tops the list at 10.0.
i tried to log to http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ today and i could not but i found that they published a list of players and their price so we can start making our team already. i choose my next season players and wrote them to a word file
